is a collaboration of community leaders from local businesses,
faith groups, law enforcement, health care, government, and
neighborhoods that have come together to plan for the future
of Geauga County’s Health and Human Service needs. |

Geauga County Job and Family Services
A Department of the Geauga County
Board of Commissioners. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency
and family stability by providing financial, protective,
and employment services
to our community.

The Geauga County Department on Aging is a government agency
whose mission is to deliver services to the senior citizens
of Geauga County. The department is responsible for delivering
, planning, coordinating services and resources for seniors
in areas that include, but are not limited to: dietician, transportation,
meals, adult day care, information and referral, health assessment
and health programs, socialization and education, telephone
reassurance and visiting, newsletters, and volunteer placement,
respite and chore services. The department also serves as an
advocate for older persons and conducts special programs and
public hearings to collect, evaluate and distribute information
relative to senior needs.

United Way Services of Geauga County is one of the leading
forces in identifying and reacting to health and human service
needs in Geauga County. As a direct service provider and one
of the primary funders of health and human service needs, United
Way Services seeks to improve the quality of life of Geauga
County residents |

The Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery
Services ensures that quality mental health, alcohol and drug addiction
services are available to all residents of Geauga County. The
Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services
is dedicated to planning and coordinating a full range of community-based
services that provide quality care and meet the needs of Geauga
County residents. |

Geauga Family First Council is a collaborative, interagency
organization designed to meet the diverse needs of families
living within Geauga County through a unified system of services.
The Council is strongly committed to removing barriers for
multi-need children though prevention, early intervention and
an inter-system provision of services which support the entire
family.
